Neal, who was the Falcons’ top draft pick in 2016, tore his anterior cruciate ligament in Atlanta’s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday and was ruled out for the season.

Means spent the past two years with the Eagles and played in 14 games during that span. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013 and moved to the Baltimore Ravens before he landed in Philadelphia.

Means has recorded 12 tackles, two sacks and a fumble in his NFL career.
